Soft Tissue Injuries

This condition is characterized by the overstretching or tearing of a muscle or ligament. Strains and sprains are graded as grade 1, grade 2, or grade 3 and can be due to a motor vehicle accident, posture, or sports related injury. These injuries are often accompanied by local inflammation and subsequent pain and stiffness.

This condition is due to a decrease in the subacromial space and results in pain with overhead movements involving the arms. This pain can greatly impact an individual’s ability to work and is especially common among (but not limited to) bartenders, barbers, and manual laborers.

This condition results in a decrease in an individual’s ability to move their arm and can be quite painful. It is often progressive and can severely impact activities of daily living.

This condition creates pain at the sides of the elbow and is caused by overuse of the forearm muscles. This pain is common among office workers and athletes.

This is a common condition that causes pain in the heel and bottom of the foot. It occurs when the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue that runs from the heel to the toes, becomes inflamed or damaged. This can happen due to repetitive strain, excessive pressure, or improper foot mechanics, leading to micro-tears in the tissue.
